The AT gathering this year was much different than 2022. Last year, the weather was abysmal. Cold and overcast.

This year, we were at Telegraph Harbor Marina again...during a heat advisory. Much better! It did get a little warm but mostly it was glorious. We met more people, as last year we all huddled in our boats a lot. We dinghied, walked, rode our bikes, and took the little ferry into Chemainus.

There were about twenty boats, and ToG was tucked into quite a few bigger boats, mostly white. The roasted pig was delicious!

A note about the marina. As of about two months ago, Telegraph Harbor Marina is under new ownership. A younger couple with four children are now running the place, and doing a fine job as far as we can tell. The kids are home schooled and the oldest one (Marcus, maybe 11?) appears on the docks often with his CREW shirt and a clipboard. The owners, Jamie & Jen, seem so pleased to be off on this new adventure and are doing everything they can to make sure boaters have a pleasant experience.

Yesterday, we said our bon voyages and motored a short distance to Ladysmith, on Vancouver Island. More about Ladysmith later.
