Motif #1 in Rockport MA:

Although we're not boating, we are in an area with gorgeous water and lots of boats...mostly lobster-oriented!

We had one drizzly day after arriving but mostly it's been gorgeous early fall weather here.

Best fried clams so far:

To die for fish chowder at the Causeway:

We visited the oldest fair in Topsfield:

And we've taken lots of walks in the area:

Other highlights include shopping on Bearskin Neck, bike riding, and eating lobster rolls prepared by Nick's cousin, Jon.

Looking forward to dinner tonight in Swampscott with one of Nick's high school friends, a few days on Martha's Vineyard, and a day of leaf peeping up north.
