I'm posting more because I have a lot of photos and we have good internet service here at Toba Wilderness Marina.
The boats couldn't check into the marina until noon yesterday so the plan was to drop shrimp pots just inside Double Island, where we'd heard shrimping is excellent. Nick thought the sonar looked promising:
Zero. Zilch. Disappointing.
Shrimping with Coorie Doon:
Looking around while soaking the pots:
The marina is fantastic, well-kept and nicely appointed. And over $3/foot! Beats our record of most expensive moorage. Understandable, given the location.
The welcome shelter is lovely. We were treated to a cello concert last evening from a fellow boater.

After perusing the trail map we decided on one of the shorter paths to a nearby waterfall. Only .5 miles each way - but straight up. Like hand-over-hand up a knotted rope in a few places.
Worth it:
This morning we'll move on to Pendrell Sound, home of the very warm water!
