Prepping for Florida Trip

As we prepare for our trip to Florida (leaving tomorrow), we're tracking Moor Life's progress south from New Smyrna Beach (NSB) to Key West. Drake and Beth departed Monday, spending nights at the Fort Pierce City Marina, the Lighthouse Point Marina (Boca Raton), Biscayne National Park (just south of Miami), Marathon, and on to Key West today. They've sent a few photos and reported some choppy water. We can't wait to leave this weather (upcoming freezing temps!) and bask in the 80 degree sunny stuff!

I've given up on using Nick's iPad for blogging and will take my laptop. I was trying to avoid that but it seems like the easiest way to mesh my desire to document our boating trip...and my challenges with modern technology.

As my last "experimentation" in getting all systems up and running, I am including a couple of photos.

We were tracking the king tides event of earlier this week but they were, at least around here, a good foot lower than predicted. We've seen water over the grass in the past:

Hi all! I finally decided to change platforms for my website and blog. The new site is under construction so apologies for any weirdness...
